In 2025, Tara joined the board for Home Forever Foundation where she brings her experience and expertise to support the organization’s mission to provide families in need with the basic necessities to keep dogs where they belong - in their homes and out of the shelter system.

Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Sephora, she brings a diverse background in communications, project management, learning & development, and retail operations.

Tara resides in Benicia with her husband and household of rescues. Through her work with local animal shelters in her community, she witnessed firsthand how hardship and unexpected costs can force families to make the heart breaking decision to surrender their pets. She also often witnessed the long process of adopting out animals, watching dogs live at the shelter for months and sometimes years - at a time when the number of animals far exceeds the number of willing adopters and fosters. She looks forward to applying her passion and expertise to support the mission of Home Forever Foundation.
